The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the bus stop and the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome during my stay. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped and spacious, making it easy to prepare meals. the bathrooms were clean and well maintained, providing a comfortable and warm experience.
One minor issue was that the lighting outside the front door was not working, which made it difficult to see the code in the dark. This caused a slight worry, especially when arriving late at night.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in a picturesque location. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and the hostel itself had a cozy vibe that made me feel right at home. The kitchen facilities were top-notch and well-equipped, allowing me to easily prepare meals during my stay. The lounge area was spacious and comfortable, with plush sofas and a TV for entertainment. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, and everything was impeccably clean. I was particularly impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of Helen, a staff member who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. She even took the time to assist me in planning activities and checking in to ensure I was safe. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hostel to others.
Although my stay was mostly enjoyable, I did encounter a couple of minor drawbacks. The check-in process could be improved, as I received an email with the necessary information several days after checking in.

We arrived at the Woodlands Centre late at night and were worried when we found the front door locked. However, a friendly guest opened the door for us, saving the day. The location was great, and the price was reasonable. The cleanliness of the place was impressive. Although our first room had an uncomfortable and noisy bed, Helen, the warden, was kind enough to move us to a different room with a better bed. The kitchen facilities were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place for its friendly atmosphere and value for money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a cosy, homely, and relaxed accommodation in a beautiful location. The caretaker, Michelle, was incredible - so nurturing and caring. The Woodlands Centre, as it is sometimes known, doesn't feel like a hostel at all. The facilities were much cleaner and more comfortable than I expected for the price paid. The showers in the ladies' bathroom were great, and the well-stocked kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The beds were super soft, which my daughter loved. it was a really special place and a great base for exploring the surrounding beauty.
Nothing at all. 👌

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Woodlands Centre. The location was great and the facilities were top-notch. We particularly enjoyed having our own room instead of sharing with other guests, and the kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The television in the evening was a nice touch. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like having to use a sticky note for entry and not being able to contact any staff members, overall we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We would recommend Woodlands Centre for those seeking basic and affordable accommodation in a fantastic location.

Had a fabulous Christmas getaway at a lovely hostel nestled in the heart of a picturesque town. the location was perfect, with easy access to hiking trails and the town center. the staff were incredibly friendly and made check-in a breeze. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hostel had a well-equipped kitchen, allowing us to prepare our Christmas feast. Plus, there was ample parking available for our convenience.
That the walls could be a bit thin, especially when inconsiderate groups arrived late. this was not the fault of the hostel owner, as the warden did their best to address the issue.
